Penny Stirling
Calm Energy Massage began trading in January 2004 and is run
by Penny Stirling. Penny graduated from Victoria University of
Technology in 2002 with a Diploma of Health Science - Massage and
Level 2 First Aid Qualifications.
Since the completion of this course, Penny has worked with a
wide variety of sporting and postural conditions. Through this
she has developed a comprehensive understanding of many muscular
conditions and the types of treatment best suited to aid their
recovery. These conditions include but are not limited to; frozen
shoulder, headaches (especially tension and sinus headaches),
sacroiliac joint dysfunction, hip and pelvic girdle imbalance,
upper body postural imbalance from office and desk work and
relaxation massage for the reduction of stress.
Ongoing study includes the Post Graduate Seminar Program run by
the Australasian College of Soft Tissue Therapy, Neurostructural
Integration Technique Basic Training, various short seminars and
conferences run through the Australian Association of Massage
Therapists (AAMT) of which Penny is a member.
Prior to massage, Penny also studied a Bachelor of Arts - Recreation
Management.
Penny: “I really enjoy working with people of all walks of life and
finding ways to alleviate their pain. This brings it’s own challenges
as people respond differently to various techniques and it is necessary
to monitor the clients results week to week to ensure you continue making
the desired progress. I particularly enjoy working with headaches as
being a headache sufferer myself I can empathize with how people are
feeling and I have honed my skills in alleviating neck and head pain.”
Penny is available:
Monday 9am-7pm
Tuesday 9am-1.15pm
Wednesday 9am-7pm
Thursday 9am-1.15pm

Nadine Ayoub
Nadine studied her Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Massage. Professionally qualified in Deep Tissue Massage (Remedial Massage) she has a particular interest in massaging conditions of the lower back and relieving tension throughout the feet (which can aid in full body release).
Before studying massage, Nadine completed a Diploma of Holistic Counselling which combines well with massage to incorporate body, mind and spirit.
During her time as a massage therapist, Nadine has treated many sporting conditions such as Basketball injuries particularly in the lower body (legs), golfing injuries, weight lifting, and has keen interest in getting sports people back to training as quickly as possible after an injury.
When coming in for a relaxation massage, allow Nadine’s sensitive and intuitive approach release all the tension from your muscles. She has an amazing talent for understanding how to tailor the massage for what the body requires, then intuitively massaging with profound results. Something you have to feel to believe.
